The Yellow Trailer Art Gallery is a “un-galleried/mobile play space.” The trailer stops, opens, shows movies and explores new installation possibilities in various unexpected environments. The Trailer was a recent participant in ConfluxCity 2009 in New York City and has had a presence in the region for several years. http://confluxfestival.org/2009/events/conflux-city
The Trailer is physically a very tall and sleek yellow utility trailer hitched to a car, but the trailer also has another purpose. It is an activist art-world participant. The Yellow Trailer has been converted in ways to maximize its mobility and portability while it exhibits varied dynamic multimedia presentations.
