BQE Studios is community of artists and artisans working in a big brick building by the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (BQE) in Brooklyn, New York. Traditionally, the building which is located between 18th and 19th street and 3rd avenue has been the home of businesses that manifacture items for the women's apparel industry.  Today one such business still exists but the spirit of small local business lives on as many artists and artisans have arrived. BQE studios is a community of people working with their hands, heads, and hearts, and enjoying life in New York. Please join us for our yearly open studios.
